The paints are produced of finely ground pigments and binders with the addition of Gum Arabic, which is recognized as the best natural adhesive for professional watercolours. The colours have high intensity colour hues, which do not tone down even when more water is added, thanks to the high concentration and finely ground pigments. The paints have perfect mixing, smearing and spreading qualities. The colour palette consists mostly of  lightfast colours.

The set contains 12 colours which  includes  6 normal shades, 3 pastels and 3 metallics.

Golden Open Acrylic Colours

OPEN Acrylics are a slow-drying paint with a slightly softer consistency than our Heavy Body paints. The increased working time of these colors expands their range to include more traditional techniques once only possible with oils. Thick applications can dry extremely slowly, so we recommend artists only use OPEN Colors thinly (< 1 mm). Drying time can also be accelerated by mixing OPEN with faster-drying acrylics like our Fluid and Heavy Body colors. The slow-drying capability of OPEN Acrylics also makes the suitable for some printmaking techniques. Because OPEN Acrylics dry slowly, painters who cover their palettes or use sealed containers have been able to use the same colors for weeks, reducing the amount of paint wasted and preserving color mixtures for future use.

DECOLA ACRYLIC BATIK PAINT- 6 x 50 ML Batik paints from the “Decola” series of the “Nevskaya Palitra” are intended for decoration of natural and synthetic fibers – cotton, linen, silk and more. In addition to full dyeing, batik paints can be used to paint or decorate accents using templates or stamps. When textile dyes are used to create separate decorative elements, the borders of the image should be outlined with contour lines to prevent the colors from blending and overflowing. Batik paints are dried overnight, then fixed for 5 minutes with an iron at a temperature consistent with the requirements of the material used. Batik woven fabrics can then be washed by hand or in a 30-degree washing machine. Decola Batik paints are available in 6 colors, in 50 ml plastic jars. The colors included in the set for natural and synthetic fabrics are yellow, orange, green, blue, red and black. In addition, there are two 18 ml contours in the kit.
